Established in 2003, Abu Dhabi University is a young private university located in the United Arab Emirates. Its founders, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other citizens of the United Arab Emirates, envisioned an institution that would be among the best in the UAE and throughout the world. It is now the largest private university in the UAE. Despite its young age, the institution already received Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Royal Institute of British Architects, AACSB, EQUIS and ABET accreditations. Abu Dhabi University has been rated by QS as 2nd globally for international faculty and 10th for international students.
