Founded in 1949, the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (AFAD) is a modern and dynamic European university. Its students and teachers successfully present their artworks in Slovakia and abroad. It has a full accreditation to offer complex bachelor, master and doctoral study programmes in the fields of: fine arts, design, architecture, conservation and restoration. AFAD is an artistic educational institution with a strong position and a great prestige among other Slovak universities and faculties of the field.
