Located in the 18th district of Vienna, Währing, FHWien der WKW runs university of applied sciences courses in the fields of management and communication. It started its operations in 1994 with the tourism management course and, in 2012, the organization was given the title University of Applied Sciences awarded by the Higher Education Council. Its mission is to be an innovative higher education institution and provide students a practically relevant learning experience. Working in close contact with Austrian corporations, FHWien der WKW offers comprehensive and practice-oriented academic programs to over 2.800 students. It counts 150 international partner universities.
