Established in 1966, Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a private Italian design school. It has more than 10.000 students, which is a great number for such a specialized school. IED is highly international-oriented: its campuses span from Milan to São Paulo. However, at the moment, only Milan, Florence and Madrid are available to free movers. Furthermore, the quota of international students is very high, with more than 2.000 students joining IED from abroad every year. The school is organized into four disciplines: Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management, and is very practical-oriented, with many professionals who participate to lessons and interactive courses.
