Founded in 1977, Kristianstad University is a young Swedish university. It is one of the newest institutions of higher education established in the country. Kristianstad University has a diverse body of 14.000 students. It is the only Swedish university that offers work-integrated education in all of its undergraduate programmes. Its keywords are openness, curiosity and respect. Research at Kristianstad University is challenge-driven and integrated with its degree programmes. Its campus is placed a short walk from the city center and just outside its doors are beautiful trails surrounded by trees, a variation of animals and delta waters. Students at Kristianstad University have the opportunity to combine studies with sport and exercise, with disciplines that range from rock climbing to sailing.
