Maastricht University

Founded in 1976, Maastricht University is the second youngest Dutch public university. It is a very international-oriented university: 54% of its 19.000 students come from abroad. Maastricht University regularly ranks as one of Europe’s leading universities: it has been placed in the top 300 universities in the world by ARWU, CWTS, QS, Times Higher Education and USNWR. It is also ranked as the 10th best young university by Times Higher Education and 23rd in the QS Top 50 Under 50 ranking. The university is triple accredited (AMBA, EQUIS, AACSB), which means that it has the highest international recognition in the business field.
