National Taiwan University (NTU) is a public national university located in Taipei. Its is considered to be the most comprehensive university in Taiwan. NTU is affiliated with National Taiwan Normal University and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology as part of the NTU System. It has approximately 30000 students and is affiliated to: IEEE, Association for Computing Machinery and Harvard-Yenching Institute, among others. Its undergraduate students have compulsory English language, physical education and public service classes. NTU is ranked among the top 100-200 universities worldwide by all the major rankings. Furthermore, in the subject rankings offered by QS, NTU is ranked in the top 100 positions in every category, thus confirming its comprehensive focus.
