Founded in 1829, the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is Denmark’s first polytechnic university. It is a member of Eurotech Universities along with École Polytechnique in Paris, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Eindhoven University of Technology, Technical University of Munich and Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. The university enjoys a good reputation worldwide, as it is ranked among Europe’s leading engineering institutions and among the top 1% of universities worldwide. Times Higher Education World University Rankings ranks DTU 163rd in the world and QS World University Rankings ranks DTU 112th in the world.
