University of Bayreuth

The University of Bayreuth is a public research university founded in 1975 as a campus university focusing on international collaboration and interdisciplinarity. Its green, compact campus is the heart of the university and a source of inspiration. The University of Bayreuth describes itself as a university of innovative thinking, while its mission is to be a creative, courageous, innovative, and liveable university for all of its students. Its approach is interdisciplinary, and this is reflected in its blended study programs such as, for example: Philosophy & Economics, Health Economics or Geoecology. With more than 13.000 students enrolled, the University of Bayreuth can be considered a medium-size university.
