Located in Split, Croatia, the University of Split is a public university, established in 1974 with the role of being a relevant scientific and teaching institution in the region. There are around 18.500 students enrolled at its eleven faculties, one arts academy and four university departments. Although being fairly young, the University of Split can be proud today of its 180 study programmes delivered in social sciences, humanities, natural, technical, biotechnical, medical, biomedical sciences and arts. Its offer is continuously enriched with new, interesting and attractive study programmes. The institution has placed internationalization high on its agenda. Its aim is to become a strong university recognized for its quality in education, research and services offered to its students and employees.
