• Partner Universities: Hands down, our best selection. You can directly apply to these institutions with your unique wearefreemovers profile, making everything as seamless as it can be. We work hand-in-hand with these institutions, and we are developing new, exclusive features for them. If you are after reliability and a smooth application process, our Partner Universities are the way to go.
• Verified/Unverified Universities: Unfortunately, you can’t yet directly apply to these institutions using your wearefreemovers profile. We hope more institutions convert to a partner listing, as this is setting the standard for a newly improved free mover experience. By now, we are giving you redirection links, where you can start your application procedures on the universities’ websites. With the Verified and Unverified Universities, you go down the “old” route, which we found ourselves in some years ago: no reference platform, no application fee waiver, and potentially long waiting times. • Search by name: If you already have a specific institution in mind, our search-by-name feature allows you to quickly find your destination.
• Subject: With a selection of 48 subjects and 5 teaching languages (English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish), our University Finder provides a detailed breakdown to help you choose an institution that matches your academic interests and language proficiency.
• Country: With more than 50 countries and numerous cities in our database, you can tailor your search to prioritize certain locations, ensuring your study abroad experience is exactly where you want it to be.
• Application deadlines: You can also filter by deadline, so that you have a clear overview of which institutions still have an open application period for your selected semester of study
• Acceptance rate: This rate gives you an idea of the competitiveness of your desired institution, helping you understand your chances of getting admitted. It is calculated as the percentage of admitted free movers on the total number of applicants.
• Semester fees: Budgeting for your study abroad experience is crucial, and our semester fees filter helps you find institutions that fit your financial parameters, measured by a standard 30 ECTS semester.
