ESDES Business School was created in 1987 as part of the Catholic University of Lyon. It is a state-recognised institution and its diploma carries the ‘visa’ of approval and the Master’s degree of the French Ministry of Education. Its Master in Management program is EPAS accredited. The school is part of the “Conférence des Grandes Écoles”, organisation which gather the top French business schools that have proven academic excellence and selectivity in admissions. In 2015, ESDES moved to its brand new campus: the former prison of Lyon was transformed to the high-tech equipped university campus Saint Paul, located in the city center of Lyon. The university is also EQUIS and AACSB accredited.
