Hanyang University

Hanyang University (HYU) is one of the leading private research universities of South Korea. The university was established in 1939 as the first engineering institute in the country, and became the founding facility of Hanyang University with its motto and educational philosophy of “Love in Deed and Truth”. The university welcomes over 7.400 foreign students each year and more than 3.000 students study abroad annually. HYU counts the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Cambridge, and Tsinghua University among its 820 partner universities in 88 countries. The university is ranked 151th in the world by QS World University Rankings. It has also been named among the world’s top 100 most innovative universities by Reuters.
