Located on the shore of lake Saimaa, the 4th biggest lake in Europe, Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology (LUT) is a Finnish public university established in 1969. Its study programs have been EPAS, EUR-ACE and ASIIN-accredited. LUT is included, with a good research intensity indicator, in the prestigious rankings made by Times Higher Education and QS, as well as in a report made by the Firetail consulting firm of the world’s 20 most promising and rapidly developing challenger universities. Clean energy and water, circular economy and sustainable business are the key questions of humankind to which LUT seeks solutions through technology and business.
