Nord University is a young Norwegian state university formed by a merger between the University of Nordland, Nesna University College and Nord-Trøndelag University College in 2016. It has strong regional ties and a focus on developing regional networks with communities, business and industries in the High North, while keeping a global perspective. The university is committed to delivering relevant educational programmes and research, with a focus on blue and green growth, innovation and entrepreneurship, and welfare, health and education.
