RMIT University

Founded by Francis Ormond in 1887, RMIT is a is a world leader university in Art and Design, Architecture and the Built Environment, Engineering, Accounting and Finance, Business and Management Studies. It began as a night school offering classes in art, science, and technology, in response to the industrial revolution in Australia. With an annual revenue of around A$1,3 billion, RMIT is also one of the wealthiest universities in the country. It is rated as a five star university by QS in the areas of: research, employability, teaching, facilities, internationalisation, innovation, engagement, specialisation. According to the same ranking, RMIT is also the top art and design university in Australia.
