Šiauliai University

Established in 1997, Šiauliai University is a modern public Lithuanian university. It was founded by a merger of the Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute and the Šiauliai Polytechnical Faculty of the Kaunas University of Technology. Šiauliai University is the biggest institution of higher education in Northern Lithuania. It has its own modern Library, Botanical Garden, Art Gallery, Health, Hypotherapy and Sports Center. The university is being successfully involved in the local, national and international projects, implementing exchange of academic staff and students and cooperating closely with regional and national companies, organizations and business partners. It has over 200 agreements with foreign higher education institutions from 50 countries all over the world.
