Technical University of Cologne

The Technical University of Cologne (TH Köln) is a public German university of applied sciences. It was established in 1971 from a merger of numerous smaller colleges, the oldest of them being the Royal Provincial Trade School, founded in 1833. It is a member of UAS7, a network of the seven leading German universities of applied sciences. TH Köln supports and fosters human and academic pluralism: it views all kinds of plurality as a basis for innovation. It also strives for quality in the fields of teaching, research, and studies. It can count on 4.400 international students and partnerships with more than 360 universities in 94 countries.
