Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT) is a private, nonprofit university founded in 1991 in Buenos Aires, with the mission of contributing to academic life and education through training of the new business, political, academic, social and artistic generations of Argentina. The spirit of the university comes from Engineer Torcuato Di Tella, founder of SIAM, one of the most dynamic metalworking industries of the time in Latin America. UTDT is a highly recognized research university in Latin America and its library is among the most complete ones devoted to the social sciences in Argentina.
