Go Together Bonus — Terms and Conditions
These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you (“Participant”) and wearefreemovers GmbH (“we”, “us”). By taking part in the Go Together Bonus Programme (“Programme”), you agree to these Terms.

1.Definitions
Eligible Booking — a mobility semester or other short‑term academic experience booked through wearefreemovers for which we have received, in cleared funds, our full commission from the host institution.
Group — minimum of two Participants who satisfy §4 and are linked through a valid Group Identifier.
Group Identifier — the unique link/code/e‑mail mechanism we provide through the Participant Portal for creating or joining a Group.
Group Confirmation Date — the later of (i) the official programme start date at the host institution, and (ii) the date on which we receive cleared commission for every Eligible Booking in the Group.
Go Together Bonus — the monetary reward in §5.
Go Together-Enabled Destination — a destination flagged as eligible for the Go Together Bonus on the Platform.
Participant Portal — the secure area of the Platform where you manage your booking and referral details.
Platform — the website www.wearefreemovers.com.
2. Programme Overview
Friends who form a Group and each complete an Eligible Booking at the same destination and start date may earn a Go Together Bonus. The Go Together Bonus may be combined with other active promotions (e.g., Referral or Cashback), provided the destination is flagged as eligible for each promotion on the Platform (see § 7 for interaction rules and caps).
3. Destination Eligibility
Only destinations flagged “Go Together-Enabled Destination” on the Platform qualify. We may update the list at any time.
4. Forming a Group
- Timing. Each prospective member must enter the Group Identifier before submitting their application or within seven (7) calendar days after paying their Confirmation Deposit—whichever is earlier. Requests outside this window are invalid.
- Requirements. All listed members must:
- pay their Confirmation Deposit on time; and
- satisfy all conditions in the Cashback Terms §3 (if applicable).
Size verification. We verify final Group size on the Group Confirmation Date. If a member withdraws, cancels or if we do not receive commission for their booking, the Bonus is recalculated according to the actual size.
5. Bonus Amounts and Annual Cap
The Go Together Bonus payable to each Participant depends on the verified Group Size and the destination-specific rates shown on the relevant Go Together-Enabled Destination page of the Platform at the time every Group member has satisfied all eligibility conditions in § 4.
The total Go Together Bonuses a Participant may receive in a calendar year are subject to the aggregate cap displayed in the Participant Portal.
All Bonus amounts remain subject to the payment conditions in § 8; no higher amount will be paid.
6. Prohibited Conduct
We may withhold, suspend or claw back any Bonus obtained through self‑referrals, duplicate accounts, fictitious identities, post‑arrival additions, late Identifier submissions, or any breach of our Terms of Use.
7. Combination with Other Promotions
You may still earn Referral Bonuses for students outside your Group and/or destination, subject to the €500 annual referral cap.
You cannot receive both a Go Together Bonus and a Referral Bonus for the same friend in the same semester. Where both apply, the Go Together Bonus prevails unless you request otherwise in writing.
8. Payment Timing
Go Together Bonuses become payable only after we have received our commission for every Eligible Booking in the Group, in cleared funds. We will pay the Bonus within thirty (30) calendar days of that receipt (or such longer period as is reasonably necessary if the commission is delayed for reasons outside our control) via the same payment method used for each Participant’s Confirmation Deposit, or another mutually agreed method. If we do not receive a commission in whole or in part, the related Bonus will be reduced proportionally or cancelled.
9. Taxes
We treat Go Together Bonuses as promotional rebates. We issue no tax certificates. Participants are responsible for any tax reporting or payment obligations under their local laws.
10. Programme Modification and Termination
We may amend, suspend or terminate the Programme at any time. Material changes will take effect 14 days after we post them, unless a shorter period is required to comply with law or prevent abuse. Bonuses that became payable prior to the effective date of the change will still be honoured in accordance with §8.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under this Programme shall not exceed the total Go Together Bonuses payable to you. We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by substantive Swiss law, to the exclusion of its conflict‑of‑law rules. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the ordinary courts at our registered seat (Baar, Canton Zug, Switzerland), unless mandatory consumer‑jurisdiction provisions grant you the right to sue or be sued elsewhere.
