Discover the World at Universidad Pablo de Olavide’s International Center!
The International Center has been welcoming international students for over 20 years. More than 13,000 students from around the world have participated in one of our dynamic short-term or semester-long programs, which combine academic excellence with cultural immersion.

Our most popular option is the Multidisciplinary Studies Program, a semester-long experience offering a wide range of courses in both Spanish and English, designed to fit diverse academic interests. For students with a strong command of Spanish, the University Immersion Program (P.I.U.) provides the opportunity to fully integrate into regular university classes alongside local students. Courses are 6 ECTS credits (3 U.S. credits) unless specified otherwise.

We also offer Spanish language courses year-round, as well as a three-week summer Spanish Culture & Society Program—perfect for students who want to improve their language skills and enjoy a rich international experience in a shorter timeframe.

Accommodation

A partner entity organizes housing with host families. There are also several new residence halls in Seville.

Social and extracurricular activities

We have 3 student interns each semester (local Spanish students) who organize a number of social and cultural activities for our international students.

Visa and immigration

For non-EU citizens, we issue the letter required to apply for the student visa once the student has paid their tuition in full.

I loved my year at Universidad Pablo de Olavide! I met incredible people through classes and CUI activities like Spanish Tables and flamenco nights. The teachers were great, and living with a host family helped me truly experience Spanish culture.
