Corvinus University of Budapest is a Hungarian, research-oriented, public university. It was established in 1920 on the previous “József Industrial School”, opened in 1846. The institution had been listed in the top 50 in the Financial Times European Masters in Management rankings. Notable alumni of Corvinus University of Budapest include various prominent figures, spanning from the richest person in Hungary to the CEO of Wizz Air. It is an urban university: its faculties operate in multiple buildings that stand in the city centre of Budapest, while its main building is part of an UNESCO Heritage Site.
