  • IELTS: 6.5 (minimum of 6.0 in each band)
  • CAEL: 70 (minimum of 60 in each band)

A minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is typically required. Applicants slightly below this threshold may still be considered if supported by strong academic progression, relevant coursework, or an exceptional extracurricular profile.

Carleton University’s on-campus housing includes 12 interconnected residence buildings. You’ll find spaces designed for comfort and connection: a large dining hall with endless food options and unlimited access for students on the All-Access Meal Plan, fitness centre, games rooms, multi-faith space, community kitchen, the Black Student Hub, and more. Most floors also have TV and study lounges, so you’ll always have a place to relax or focus.
