Available courses

English-taught

Universidad Privada Boliviana offers a wide range of short courses:

  • Bolivian Arts, Culture & Creative Industries (BACI) – 8 days, scheduled for late April–early May 2025 (Bolivian autumn). The program awards a UPB certificate of completion; academic credit can be arranged on a case-by-case basis with partner universities.
  • Cultural & Business “Summer Camp” – 9 days (8 nights). Dates are flexible to match the visiting university’s calendar, typically running between June and August (our winter). Participants earn three on-site credits, with the option of 6 additional online credits taken afterward at no extra cost.
  • Social Entrepreneurship & Sustainability in Bolivia – a 3-week program that can be scheduled whenever it suits the partner institution. It carries three in-person credits once an inter-institutional agreement is in place.
  • International Immersion in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Culture – A one-week (Sunday-to-Sunday) experience that can be organised any time of year. Participants receive a UPB Executive Program certificate rather than formal credits.
  • LEAP Semester (Latin American Young Leadership Program) – 20 weeks:
    • February – June (summer–autumn) or
    • August – mid-December (winter–spring). Students typically take 4–5 academic courses (3 credits each) plus a 3-credit internship, so the usual load is 15–18 U.S. semester credits.
  • Spanish Language & Culture Semester – Held every year from early January to 30 June (summer blending into winter). UPB issues an official transcript; each home university determines actual credit transfer.
