With less than 300 students, the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague is a small art college in Prague, Czech Republic. It was established by Imperial Decree in 1799, making it the oldest one in the country. The university offers twelve master’s degree programs and one doctoral program. Its departments span over many artistic fields, and include Architecture, Drawing and Printmaking, Intermedia Studies, Painting, Restoration of Artworks and Sculpture. Despite its small size, the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague is ranked among the world’s top 150 universities in the Arts & Design field of the notorious QS World University Rankings by Subject.
