ISCTE University Institute of Lisbon

ISCTE University Institute of Lisbon is a Portuguese public tertiary education institution. It was established in 1972 as the “Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa” in Lisbon. It is now located in the “Cidade Universitária”, located in the vibrant city centre of Lisbon. Its Business School holds institutional accreditations from the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and Association of MBAs (AMBA). ISCTE is part of both the Foundation of Portuguese Universities and the Council of Rectors of Portuguese Universities. It is also one of the few public university education institutions in Portugal with a foundational nature, other examples being the University of Porto, University of Aveiro and New University of Lisbon.
