Singapore Management University

Singapore Management University (SMU) is an autonomous university established in 2000. It has a total enrollment of about 10.000 undergraduate and postgraduate students located in the downtown area of Singapore. SMU has over 30 research institutes and centres of excellence, and holds the prestigious “Triple Crown” accreditation (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS). It was the first university in Asia to be accredited by Ashoka, a global non-profit organization supporting leading social entrepreneurs worldwide. It was also the first university in Singapore to be accredited as a research organization by the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs. SMU’s business school was ranked 6^th in the Financial Times Top 25 Business Schools in the Asia-Pacific region, and its Master of Business Administration (MBA) had been ranked 49^th worldwide according to the same organization.
